Booking & trials

Is my child too young or too new to start?

Not at all. Our classes start from 12 months old, and beginners are welcome. Trampoline FUNdamentals (ages 5–16) is a friendly place to start on the trampoline, and Champ Tots (ages 4–7) is our first trampoline class for little ones. Our coaches are qualified British Gymnastics coaches, all DBS checked.

Do I stay with my toddler in the pre-school classes?

Yes. A grown-up stays and joins in with their little one in Little Movers, Gym Tots and Bounce Tots. They all run on Fridays: Little Movers 9:30–11am, Gym Tots 11:15am–12:15pm and Bounce Tots 12:15–1:15pm. The current term for Gym Tots and Bounce Tots is Friday 6 Nov to Friday 18 Dec 2026 (7 weeks).

Where are you?

We’re inside Huddersfield Leisure Centre, Spring Grove Street, Huddersfield HD1 4BP. You can also call us on 01484 976253 or send us a message.

How do I book?

Can we try a class first?

Yes. Free trials are available on our trampoline and gymnastics classes: Champ Tots, Trampoline FUNdamentals, Trampoline Development, Pocket Rockets, Regional Squad and Gymnastics.

There is no free trial for Little Movers, Gym Tots or Bounce Tots. Little Movers is a relaxed open session (Fridays 9:30–11am, £5.50) and a lovely first visit.

Which class is right for my child?
  • Little Movers: 0–5 years
  • Gym Tots: 12 months–3 years
  • Bounce Tots: 3–4½ years
  • Champ Tots: 4–7 years
  • Gymnastics: 3½–6 years
  • Trampoline FUNdamentals: 5–16 years
  • Trampoline Development: 6–16 years
  • Pocket Rockets: 6½–12 years
  • Regional Squad: 7+
  • Adults: 16+ (Mondays 8pm, £8.50)

Try our “Find my class” helper for a suggestion.

Can anyone join a squad?

Yes. Our squads, including Regional Squad, are open to new and existing gymnasts, so you don’t have to be a member already. You can book a free trial for Regional Squad online, and our National squads and DMT are enquiry only. Pocket Rockets is a trampoline class that leads into the Regional Squad. You can read more on our squads page.

What is the difference between Pocket Rockets and Regional Squad?

Pocket Rockets is one of our trampoline classes, an intermediate class like Trampoline Development.

Pocket Rockets (ages 6½–12) is for gymnasts thinking about starting to compete, or really interested in trampoline, and it leads into our Regional Squad. Regional Squad (ages 7+) is our squad for gymnasts already competing in any gymnastics discipline, or ready to compete. Competing is not compulsory.

Above the Regional Squad sit our National squads (Group 1 and Group 2 National Development) and DMT, which are enquiry only.

How much do classes cost, and is there a joining fee?

Prices depend on the class and are shown in the “More about this class” section on each class’s page (see all classes): Little Movers is £5.50 per child, Gym Tots and Bounce Tots are £45 for new families and £40 for returning families for the 7-week term, adult trampolining is £8.50 a session, and our other classes are monthly, costing less for more than one class a week.

New members pay a one-off £25 joining fee on all of our classes, and our monthly classes also need British Gymnastics registration. FUNdamentals and Development have a £25 annual fee on your joining date.
